Turmeric, an iconic Sarasota restaurant, well-known for its traditional cuisine with signature range of Indian dishes - was born out of a complete love for cooking tasty dishes and a passion to experiment with bringing out the best aromatic flavors of its natural ingredients.
The one crucial ingredient in the Indian spice and medicine treasury is Turmeric. It ties the vibrant cuisines of the East, West, North, South and Central India, yielding a rich and exciting harvest for the connoisseur’s palate.

17 of us from out of town visited Turmeric for Sunday lunch buffet. Food was excellent. The entire serving staff was very friendly and accommodated all our needs. Definitely recommend this place for tasty Indian food.

Chef Sarabjit's cooking style is innovative and explores modern variations of Indian cuisine.
Bringing a wealth of knowledge and refined skills, having worked for notable restaurants throughout the last decade both in India and US, award-winning Singh's expertise have truly upped the dining experience in Sarasota's restaurant business.
Our food is cooked with traditional methods and passion. The regional specialties are the same that are served at the best tables in India.
